To use these free booking links, a hotel needs to have a Google My Business listing verified and linked to a hotel rates and availability system through one of Google’s approved connectivity vendors. This integration allows the property’s direct booking engine to be displayed prominently in search results, right below paid advertisements, making it easier for potential guests to find and book directly with the hotel​.

This feature not only benefits hotels by bypassing the need for costly pay-per-click advertising but also offers travelers more booking options directly through hotel websites, often at better rates. It's particularly useful for smaller hotels or independent properties that may struggle to compete with larger online travel agencies in paid search results.

To activate the Google Hotel link first you need to make sure that your property is Hotel.

Then you need to set up your booking engine completely with all images, rates, and styling you prefer.

After you set up Booking Engine please go to:
​Settings > Booking Engine > Right Bottom part of the screen and activate Google Hotel.
