How to activate the Payment Gateway on the Booking Engine

Ok you set up the Booking Engine, but one thing is missing - payments.

This article will explain to you the process and answer all the FAQ about that.



Which Payment Gateways do we support?

This depends on the Country that your property is located in but the complete list can be checked here on the Integrations page and to the tab Finance & Payment Processing for the latest details:


How to Activate the Payment Gateway?

First, you will need to have an active account on one of the Payment Gateways. If you do not have the payment gateway, you can always submit it to our partner Axcessms by contacting our sales team. Here are the details about it.

Then, in the OTA Sync Dashboard, go to the Settings > Marketplace > and activate the Payment gateway you need.
In the pop-up modal, add details in the required input fields in order to make the gateway operable.


How to Connect Payment Gateway with the Booking Engine?

After you activate the Payment Gateway in the Marketplace, you need to go to the Settings > Property Policies and check the first option on the left, 'Payment Required', and in the dropdown field select the Payment Gateway you wish to use for the Booking Engine.


How to determine the % that I want to charge from the guests in the Booking Engine?

This is done automatically based on the cancellation policy you set up.
For Non-Refundables, it will always be 100% pre-payment, and for 'No Penalty' payment won't be necessary, for others we will follow the rules you set up in the amount % to be charged.

Cancellation Policy can be accessed in the Settings > Property Policies and on the right part of the screen. And it is applied inside the pricing plan settings.
