If you want to give a discount that will be visible to certain guests, you can do so by creating a promo code. Promo code, or promotional code, is a series of letters, numbers or a combination of both, on the basis of which the user obtains the right to a discount when booking, up to the amount indicated on the Promo Code.
How to create a promo code
To create a promo code, go to All Settings - Booking Engine Settings and in the upper right corner of the window there is a Promo Code setting. Click the plus icon to open the Insert Promo Code window.
When the window opens, it is necessary to fill in all the fields.
In the name field, enter the name of the promo code as desired, which will be visible to you.
In the code field, enter the promo code (numbers or letters or a combination) as desired, which you will send to guests.
In the first type field, choose whether the discount will apply to all services or only to specific ones In the quantity field, enter the amount of the discount that you want to be applied at the time of entry
In the second type field, you can indicate whether the discount will be a percentage or a certain fixed amount
The date from and date to fields refer to the date range in which the promo code will be valid
Note: If you do not want this promo code to be combined with any other active promotions you have created, check the box Not stackable with other discounts.
Finally, enter the Note field, if you wish, if you want to assign a description to this promo code and don't forget to click the save button.
How to use a promo code
When you have created a promo code and sent it to a guest for use, it is enough for the guest to access your Booking engine link
In the field for selecting the date and number of adults, there is the Add promo code option.
Once the promo code is entered, the discount from the promo code will be applied to the prices. After that, the guest continues with the booking steps.
