How to split the reservation

Split stay option is used in the following cases:

  1. When the guest moves during the stay (Example: the guest is staying in the room in the period 01-05.09 and 03.09 and wants to move to another room)

  2. When the number of people in the room changes during the stay (e.g. the first night one person stays in the room, the second night two)

With the split stay option this process is simple and fast. It is enough to select the "scissors" icon and select the date where the reservation is cut and to which room you are moving the reservation. Also, when splitting, you will choose whether to transfer the extra services to the new room or not.

In this way, we get a chopped reservation with retained dates and price (even when a different price per day is set). After this, all you have to do is enter that "split part" of the reservation and add more people if necessary.

Where to find split stay option?

You will find the split stay option when you enter the reservation, click on the Rooms and extras tab, there is the "scissors" icon.

Clicking on the scissors opens a window where you can choose:

  • the date from which you want to split the reservation (you can choose the first day after the arrival date of the reservation)

  • Whether to keep the extra services in original room or transfer to the new one.

  • After that, you choose to which room you want to transfer the reservation

Finally, click the Confirm button to confirm the selected action. When you're done with split stay option, reservation will look like this:
