1. It can be activated to give offline travel agencies access to your prices and availability.
2. It can also be used so that receptionists can book special offers and promotions for guests through the Booking Engine.
In order to activate this option for a specific partner or user, they must have HotelSync Agency account.
If they do not have such an account, they must first contact us via email [email protected] or via chat from our website or from the HotelSync program. On this occasion, it is necessary to provide us with the following information:
e-mail address that will be linked to their account
for which properties is it requesting access to
Based on this data, an agency account for our system will be created for them, for which we will send them a special access link (https://app.hotelsync.com/superadmin/en/?#agency) and access data, as well as a link for the agency's Booking Engine, which will be inactive until the connection with the first property is established. When logged into this type of account, they will have the option to send a request to the selected property, in order to be granted access to the availability and rates:
The request will be sent to the admin account of the selected property. After that, it is necessary to accept the connection with the partner/agency in Hotelsync from the property's account.
In Settings - Channels - Agencies, next to the selected partner, click the pencil icon to select the pricing plan which agency can use for booking, as well as whether payment is needed.
After this action, the property will be visible on the Agency account as Connected. The previously sent link for Booking Engine will then be active, with a preview of prices and availability, and an option to book. If the facility removes the price list from the connection setting with the partner, the connection will be terminated, i.e., in Disconnected status.
